Did you know that our founder Cynthea cannot live without chilli? Yes, she actually lugs around her own homemade sambal (chilli paste) when she was living in Australia because condiments are so expensive there.

Of course the process of cooking the sambal pissed off the entire block of Australians who have never been exposed to the comforting aromas of fermented shrimps (Belachan) and deftly complained against her. But nothing can stop this chilli-loving Asian girl; She started experimenting with Belachan-free sambal recipes (in today's world, that's known as Vegan) 

So expect only Vegan-friendly Sambals in this class. We will look at Sambals from the following countries: 
-Malaysia
-Thai
-Indonesia

You will learn to cook: 
(1) Vegan Sambal (no belachan) 

(2) Low-oil Healthy Thai-style Sambal
(3) Indonesian Sambal Mata
